At that time the company was specializing in pawnbroking and auctioneering. Today they have a Vintage shop at their Helsinki railway-station office, which specialises in the sale of vintage jewelry. It was a joint project with another graduate student Sanna Taskinen. She designed the ceramic bowl set, which I made all the marketing material for, from the bowls packaging to it's logo. The purpose for this typeface lies in publications for children, though it can be used in other graphic materials as well. Ilona is designed to make letter recognition easier for beginner readers. Letterforms are kept clear and commonly confused characters are made easy to separate from each other.
